About this course

La thérapie de reconditionnement de la douleur (TRD) est une approche fondée sur des données probantes visant à traiter, plutôt qu'à simplement gérer, la douleur chronique. Issue des neurosciences, la TRD vise à reprogrammer les voies neuronales du cerveau afin d'interpréter adéquatement les signaux corporels et de désactiver la douleur. Notre cours offre une formation complète et approfondie sur ce traitement psychologique, axée sur la psychoéducation, l'application et l'intégration des techniques. Notre formation permet aux professionnels de la santé d’utiliser l’approche par la suite dans leur propre pratique. La formation vidéo n° 4 aborde l'intensité, les états d'alerte élevés et d'autres comportements qui maintiennent les patients dans le cycle peur-douleur. Vous apprendrez également à aider les patients à prendre soin d'eux-mêmes et à gérer les rechutes.

  • Élaborer un plan en trois étapes pour surmonter l’inversement de l’extinction et autres obstacles sur le chemin du rétablissement.

  • Daniella Deutsch, LCSW

    Daniella Deutsch, LCSW received her master’s in social work from the University of Southern California. Daniella individualizes her treatment approach to meet the needs of each patient. She encourages her patients to relate to themselves with self-compassion while using evidence-based practices to achieve pain reduction and mind and body wellness. Daniella trains all new clinicians to the Pain Psychology Center in Pain Reprocessing Therapy, demonstrating a holistic and actionable approach to overcoming chronic pain.

  • Alan Gordon, LCSW

    Alan Gordon, LCSW is a psychotherapist in Los Angeles, CA, specializing in the treatment of chronic pain and other physical symptoms. He developed Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), a cutting-edge protocol for treating chronic pain, and completed a large neuroimaging study on the efficacy of PRT in conjunction with the University of Colorado Boulder. Alan was featured on CBS’s The Doctors, where he conducted the first fMRI case study of a patient eliminating chronic pain. He is an adjunct assistant professor at USC and has presented on the topic of pain treatment at conferences and trainings throughout the country.
